On November 11th, the imposing city of Cusco, Peru, will host one of the most radical mountain bike downhill competitions: the Red Bull Empire Rider. This event promises to be unique in its category, because national and international cyclists will be challenged by a totally urban circuit in the main heart of Cusco, a tourist center considered as one of the most important in the world. Three kilometers of natural and built obstacles will challenge the best athletes from Latin America to race down from the highway of Sacsaywaman, near to the esplanade of the popular observary of Cristo Blanco (White Christ) down to the Main Square of the city, in a competence that will paralyze more than one personâ€™s heart.
