Andreu used to race Downhill as well as BMX and appeared on the Freeride circuit for the first time in 2006. Like his brother Lluis he won a wildcard for the Red Bull District Ride and this was the event when poeple recognized him on the internationalfreeride circuit. I guess the 26TRIX contest in 2007 was the one he could show off and show his riding skills and his passion. Like everybody could see in the last years New World Disorder movies, huge 360’s, superman backflips, and flipwhips are his favourite tricks. 2008 was definitely his season! He rode a lot of competitions and traveled around the world one more year. In the winter time he had the pleasure to pull a backflip on a huge sized snowboard big air ramp at a Red BUll event in Graz. The real contest season he started in Madrid, taking part in the Nissan Qashqai Challenge. He did some good runs and walked away with the first place. In August he took part in the EVENT OF THE YEAR- Crankworx! As soon as he got there I realized that he can send it - and he did! With a score of 96.3 points he won Crankworx with an incredible run including a double backflip at the very beginning. His second passion is FMX and during the winter month he took part in some shows like Masters of Dirt. But he keeps on riding mountain bike for sure. At this years 26TRIX as well as in Crankworx he won the best trick session for his crazy 360 flatspin in Leogang and the amazing flatspin superman seatgrap indian air in Whistler! Right now he is crusing through California with the Kona Clump team and is able to ride at the most interesting places. Lucky guy!
